***
I took my first dance class at the age of three and that's about the time my love of
dance - especially ballet - began.........
Together with my older sister & our dancing friends we were often "putting on a show" for parents, grandparents, friends & neighbours - we'd spend hours choosing music, choreographing & making costumes.
I trained in ballet, tap, modern and drama and was lucky enough to participate in many pantomimes, shows, festivals and productions. I have extremely fond memories of 'my dancing days', the skills I gained, the wonderful friendships I made.
I taught ballet in a local dance school upon leaving school and then returned to teaching after becoming full-time mum to my own 4 children. I have many years experience of teaching both children & adults and regularly attend CPD training & workshops.
I now have the absolute pleasure of teaching a 'flock' of almost 100 Silver Swans each week & to witness how much our ballet classes positively enhance their lives - & in such a variety of ways - is a dream come true
